Board of Directors: U.S.

Barb Hoffman

Chairman of the Board/Student Growth

Barb and her husband Bryan first traveled to Uganda in 2006, which led to the connections On Belay has today. Barb’s heart and passion for missions has inspired her to lead over 20 short term, student teams to Romania, Hungary, Ukraine, China, Dominican Republic, Latvia, and in the last 13 years to Uganda, Africa. Having recently retired as an educator, she looks forward to continuing her journey to be a part of God’s Kingdom work around the world.

Bryan Hoffman

President/CEO

Bryan’s love for Africa began in 1971 when he taught school for three years in the Congo. In 2006, Bryan returned to Africa with his wife Barb. Since that time, they have continued to take teams and friends to meet the children and friends they love so much. Bryan retired from corporate life in 2013 and now focuses on serving in Uganda. Bryan has also been facilitating a World Missions Class at Cornerstone School of Ministry in Corvallis.

Keith Marshall

Keith became interested in missions work when he started going on short term trips to Mexico in high school. Since then he has served on many trips to Mexico, as well as to the Dominican Republic. One of his many passions is finances and budgeting, and he is happy to be helping OnBelay with big-picture financial guidance. Along with his wife of six years, Nicole, and their 4 children; Seth, Isabella and Logan, Keith feels called to serve the nations and the people of Uganda.

Nicole Marshall

Nicole has always had a heart for people- encouraging others, sharing stories, and fostering authentic community. Her appreciation for other cultures began in high school, and she has been on short term mission trips and spent a semester abroad, including going on two trips to Uganda. Nicole has been married to her husband, Keith, since 2011, and they became parents in 2016. She is loving getting to be a stay-at-home mom to 3 children; Seth, Isabella and Logan, and is excited to see where God is calling her and her family to serve and love others both locally and abroad.
